#kandinsky #expo #exhibition from Russia with love #brussels #bozar

Agenda for Brussels. Last weekend I have been to the Kandinsky expo. I have tried my best to listen to the colors but did not enjoy this overpriced exhibition. Actually the exhibition is focused on Kandinsky’s Russian period so his popular works are not included. What distracted me was the inclusion of other painters and poor quality audio guide. It might be more interesting to get the children version of the audio guide so that you can enjoy and learn about the paintings.

From 8 March up to 30 June, Brussels hosts the exhibition « Kandinsky & Russia ». At the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium, more than 150 Russian works of art can be admired, among which about fifty paintings of Wassily Kandinsky (Moscow 1866 – Neuilly-sur-Seine 1944), the founding father of abstract art.
