What do the walls tell us?

I started to share some big street art from Brussels. These usually connected to the comic strips are spread all around the town. There is even an Anroid application to map the art. A year ago I think Niels Ruëll was sharing his work on “Walls of the imagination” in the weekly Agenda magazine. I think he was working on a book so I have to look for it if it is published.

Here you see the “Le Jeune Albert” in 29 rue des Alexiens. It is about the comic strip of Yves Chaland, a Frenchman who relaunched the Ligne claire style (more accurately, his sub-genre the “futuristic” Atomic style) in French comics. Le Jeune Albert is a scamp character living in the Marolles, a working-class area of Brussels. His comic strip Le Jeune Albert did to reach a huge public.

You may find it in google maps and check is also with the street view.

Love is around the corner. Glad that Saint Valentine is over. By the way I used to see hearts on red traffic lights but recently they disappeared.
