Previous month I have posted about a Triportor. Last week in Izmir I have detected another one, again in blue but this time paint-modified. Does this scooter-like van have any horsepower? I mean tiger power :)

These oldtimers were used to be a lot in Izmir. They are still beautiful.

The Arçelik Triportör was produced in Turkey in the late 1960’s by the Turkish consumer goods manufacturer Arçelik. The vehicle is based on Italian Lambretta scooter mechanicals and has a fibreglass body. As the vehicle was very slim it was a popular solution to the problem of urban delivery in narrow, crowded streets.

This blue Triportor was parked in narrow streets of Alsancak Izmir.

Today is a sunny day and cats like sun. In Brussels we do not have street cats, friends but back home in Izmir we have them. It is fun to walk with them.

Standing on my foot, trying to resolve things.

I am hunting for old, dusty super8 film reels of amateur travelers.
Here is one dated 1973, a Belgian family (I suppose) travelled to Turkey, they arrive to Izmir airport and then make visits to Ephesus and the surrounding region. They return to Izmir and head towards the UK.
Sometime ago I sent this reel for a telecine service via for-ever.be.
And today I have played with iMovie to minimalisticly montage and inserted a funky soundtrack.

I would like say:
