Autumn is the season of local flea markets. This one in my neighborhood took place in September. Me with my Werra IV filled up with an expired Fujichrome 100 film was walking around. We start with two close-up shots (one a bit out-of focus). The girl above with the short hair looks cute. What about the congestion problem in Brussels? Matchbox-it!

iMac does not give any blue screens like the windows PC’s. This one at the flea market is blue in color. Does it matter? But both macs or PCs end up in the flea market when they are dead.

I am ready for Mac. For the first time in my life I bought myself a personal computer. Not a PC, I still have one business laptop from work but a Macbook Pro. Here some reflections from the flea market in Brussels.

Hope these winter days can be over soon so that I can go there to hunt some goodies.

2011

A terrible year to be forgotten is almost done. It’s time to pack my luggage, Istanbul calling.

With some numbers in 2011, I got twice freshly pressed on WordPress.com. In May with road companions and in September with textured. So this two posts entered the top 5 of my annual post stats. As I was bloggin in Turkish before, most of the search terms are still the same. People arrive to this blog by searching “flea market”. I am frequent visitor to the flea market in search for expired films, super8 movies and also toy-cameras. Actually today I made my last visit for this year and returned home with two b/w films and super8 travel movies from Italy and Spain (dated late 50′s).

This year the blog extended more readers and more comments to the posts were made. I have to mention Julia with her daily comments.

It is still early to say welcome to 2012 but just in case I will not have time in the coming days I wish you happy new year!

Remembered May the 28th… I was walking up and down ch. de waterloo. Another Saturday, another month, another season, well not exactly… Here in the corner of GB Express, I recognised the old tape recorder. A Sanyo, we had this when I was a child. After my dad got a Sony Hifi it stayed in my bedroom. Now its in the countryside staying at the garden.

Good days, good music…

Local flea market in my neighborhood. Returned home with a Kodak Instamatic Hawkeye movie camera, two Russian super8 cartoon movies and a tiny wardrobe for placing my super8 reels.
