Previous month I have posted about a Triportor. Last week in Izmir I have detected another one, again in blue but this time paint-modified. Does this scooter-like van have any horsepower? I mean tiger power
His name is everywhere in schools, universities, stadiums, hospitals, bridges, parks. Many cars have his signature is on the windows. Youngsters have it as a tattoo. I have to admit that he was beyond time but I do not get why people get attached physically. On the contrary his values are being constantly attacked which is a sad story. The Arçelik Triportör was produced in Turkey in the late 1960’s by the Turkish consumer goods manufacturer Arçelik. The vehicle is based on Italian Lambretta scooter mechanicals and has a fibreglass body. As the vehicle was very slim it was a popular solution to the problem of urban delivery in narrow, crowded streets.
This blue Triportor was parked in narrow streets of Alsancak Izmir.
I would like to see more of these electric vehicles in Brussels.
